ASCEND: Advanced Summer Schools for European Nursing Doctorates

 

The European Academy of Nursing Science (EANS) has 35 places available to new participants on the 2010 summer school.  We are able to offer at least one of these places to a nurse or a midwife from your country.  

 

The summer school will be held at:

Witten Herdecke, GERMANY

28^th June to 9^th July 2010

 

In order to be eligible, applicants must be:

 

·         A registered nurse or midwife

·         A national from one of the following European Union Member or Associated States:  Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, the United Kingdom.

·         Aiming to develop a career in research.

·         At an early stage of their doctoral studies in nursing or another health related discipline.

·         Able to understand and speak English to a doctoral scientific standard (the language of the summer school is English).
